The Database Administrator will have responsibility to manage the production, test and development environments. DBA should have extensive experience working with Oracle Applications versions 11.0.x and 11i implemented on Sun Solaris platform (preferably). Principal DBA would additionally go ON-CALL on a rotational basis with other DBAs, which would involve night and weekend coverage of critical systems and provide tier 1 support to Users. Responsible for performing data change control, installing and upgrading database software, implementing production, test, and development and staging databases. Administer and implement security integrity controls. Follow and adhere to policies, procedures and standards relating to database management, application management, support, and troubleshooting.REQUIRED SKILLS* Working knowledge of UNIX (Sun Solaris preferably), Windows NT, and 2000. * Extensive experience in installing, upgrading Oracle Applications versions 11.0.x and 11i in a multi-tier |
